A thought-provoking seminar titled “The Political Future of Post-July 2024 Bangladesh” was held at Red Hot Restaurant, Danforth, Toronto, organized by the Bangladesh Policy Institute.

Moderated by Shamsul Muqtadir, eight speakers discussed key issues surrounding recent political developments, debating whether the events of 2024 were a revolution or a movement.

Despite differing views, all agreed on one point: Bangladesh’s progress is hindered by internal divisions. A united effort is essential to move forward. One speaker highlighted the limited space for the diaspora in national discourse but emphasized the power of expressing views through media to shape public opinion.
